This job posting is for a Sales Associate position. The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers within a retail store setting, with a primary focus on delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering inquiries, providing product information, and assisting with purchases.
• Cashier Duties: Operating the cash register, processing transactions, handling cash accurately, and managing returns.
• Merchandising: Pricing merchandise, stocking shelves, facing products, and making price changes as directed by management.
• Inventory Management: Assisting with receiving freight, organizing incoming products, and participating in cycle counts.
• Communication: Answering phone calls and handling them appropriately.
• Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Other duties: As assigned by store manager.
Organizational Relationships:
• Reports directly to the Store Manager.
• Has no direct supervisory authority.
Requirements:
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand for long periods, and frequently bending and twisting.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Working Conditions:
• Retail store environment with varying temperatures.
• Irregular work schedule.

Compensation:
• Hourly pay range: $12.00-$15.00 depending on experience.
