Job Description:

The Environmental Health & Safety Intern position at Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO. This is a part-time, hourly position from January to May 2025 (20-30 hours/week) and full-time during the summer of 2025 while not taking classes. The intern will assist the Kansas City, Missouri site Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) team with daily activities and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and Catalent’s Global EHS programs, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist EHS in building safety cultural elements and participating in the site Green Team and Safety Engagement Committee.
• Assist in incident investigations & root cause analysis.
• Support the development of the site industrial hygiene programming elements.
• Assist in the evaluation of the site contractor safety program.
• Assist EHS with site sustainability initiatives to meet global Catalent sustainability goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student in Occupational, Safety & Health Science, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field of study.
• Eligible to legally work in the United States.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during summer 2025 while not in classes, and must be able to work part-time (20-30 hours/week) from January-May 2025.
• Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, walk regularly, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and communicate orally.
