Job Description:
Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation is seeking a Corporate Communications Intern to support its communications, community outreach, and social media efforts. This internship offers students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in the utility industry, working alongside experienced mentors.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with internal and external communications.
• Supporting community outreach initiatives and events.
• Creating and scheduling social media content to engage customers and promote company initiatives.
• Monitoring social media channels and helping track engagement metrics.
• Contributing to digital content creation and storytelling efforts.
• Helping track media coverage and prepare reports.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
• Undergraduate students must be in their freshman, sophomore, or junior year with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Graduate students pursuing a master’s degree are also welcome to apply.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
