About Braver Angels:
Braver Angels is the nation’s largest grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the partisan divide. They promote civil discourse and depolarization through a unique debate format.
Job Description:
Braver Angels is seeking hardworking, organized, and detail-oriented interns to work with the Debate Team. This internship is ideal for college students, graduate students, or recent graduates, with experience or interest in political engagement, depolarization, or civic and political nonprofits.
Two intern positions are available:
• Debate Organizing Intern
• Debate Media Intern
Responsibilities for Debate Organizing Intern:
• Logistical Support: Scheduling, email management, event preparation, note-taking, etc.
• Event Coordination: Helping organize and conduct events.
• Writing & Proofreading: Reading, writing, and editing support (including branding and formatting) for newsletters, flyers, marketing materials, etc.
• Thought Partnership: Contributing to a dynamic and growing organization through eagerness, self-motivation, and thoughtful contributions. Other projects may involve Red outreach, program marketing, metrics, and analytics.
Responsibilities for Debate Media Intern:
• Social Media Management: Assist in the development of and manage a content calendar for the Braver Debates Instagram account. Work to expand team social media presence and reach.
• Writing & Proofreading: Reading, writing, and editing support (including branding and formatting) for newsletters, flyers, marketing materials, etc.
• Thought Partnership: Contributing to a dynamic and growing organization through eagerness, self-motivation, and thoughtful contributions. Other projects may involve Red outreach, program marketing, metrics, and analytics.
