Job Description
Bosch is seeking an intern to support the development of a conceptual framework for university collaboration to build a talent pipeline for their new Semiconductor Fab in Roseville, CA. The intern will work with the Director of Presales and Public Funding and the Workforce Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research: Investigate existing university-industry collaboration models, particularly in the semiconductor manufacturing sector.
• Partnership Identification: Based on potential university partners, identify opportunities for industry-academic engagement.
• Concept Paper Development: Create a concept paper outlining collaboration models, partnership structures, Key Performance Indicators, and implementation pathways.
• Stakeholder Support: Support stakeholder interviews and/or workshops with internal and external experts.
• Presentation Preparation: Prepare presentations and briefing materials for senior leadership.
• Mentorship: Receive mentorship from experienced professionals.
• Exposure: Gain exposure to high-level strategic planning and public-private partnership development.
Qualifications:
• Required:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong research, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Domestic travel required (10-20%).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred:
• Pursuing a degree in Chemical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Material Science or a related field.
• Interest in semiconductor manufacturing.
