Job Description:
Tax Winter 2026 Internship – Los Angeles, CA
CohnReznick is seeking Tax Winter Interns to join their Los Angeles office team from January to April 2026. This is a hybrid position, requiring in-person collaboration on average 3 days a week.
Your Team:
• Engagement Team: You’ll work with other interns, associates, senior associates, managers, senior managers, and partners.
• Industries: You’ll serve clients across various industries including Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services.
• Office: The CohnReznick office offers amenities and collaborative spaces.
• Performance Coach: You’ll meet with a coach to establish goals, receive feedback, and guidance.
• CR Friend: You’ll have a familiar face to reach out to for support.
Your Role:
As a Tax Winter Intern, you will become familiar with current tax theories and laws and perform procedures in accordance with firm standards.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
• Work on client deliverables including preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Identify potential tax issues and prepare tax adjusting entries and tax trial balances.
• Assist the team with daily client workflow.

CohnReznick is looking for dedicated students with impressive credentials and a drive for new challenges.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Plan to complete 150 credit hours between May 2026 – September 2027 in order to be CPA licensed.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA in both your major and overall.
• Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the start of your internship.
• Leadership positions in student organizations, extracurricular activities and/or on team projects.
• Prior work or internship experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Must have proof of work authorization such as U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status.
Compensation:
In California, the salary for a tax intern is $34 per hour.
