Job Description:

This Student Intern position at Tufts Medicine focuses on supporting the career development of employees through education and training programs. In addition to educational responsibilities, the intern will provide exceptional care to patients, assist with clinical training for residents, fellows, Pharmacy, Imaging, medical students, and bachelors level interns. The intern will work under the supervision of a faculty member on a defined project in line with educational goals, with specific tasks and learning objectives to be defined by the student and faculty member.

• May access PHI/HIPPA identifiers as part of daily tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree program.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent organizational, technical, documentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, under supervision, and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
• Largely a sedentary role involving sitting, with occasional walking, standing, and reaching.
• Frequently required to speak, hear, communicate, and exchange information.
• Ability to see and read computer displays and fine print.
