About Company
PURPLE (Location: PURPLE LA) is seeking an intern to join their Lifestyle team. The company works with a portfolio of luxury lifestyle brands across arts & culture, design, travel, real estate, and food & beverage. This internship offers exposure to influencer relations, media monitoring, event coordination, and brand strategy, specifically within the high-end beauty space.
Job Description
The Lifestyle Intern will support the team across various tasks, gaining experience in public relations within the luxury lifestyle sector. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with an interest in hospitality, art, and design.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively monitoring all media (print, digital, and social) for brand coverage and competitor activity.
• Preparing clips of secured client coverage, including creating images, gathering viewership data, and calculating estimated value.
• Conducting industry research to identify emerging trends in travel, restaurant, and design spaces.
• Providing support on administrative tasks, including audits, invitation lists, and updating databases.
• Analyzing the influencer landscape to identify targets for campaigns and events.
• Compiling media lists of lifestyle press across digital, print, and broadcast.
• Developing skills to draft pitches and story angles.
• Facilitating the smooth running of the day-to-day function of each account team.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is required.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Effective digital communication across email and Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Detail-oriented.
• Eagerness and dedication to learn more about the lifestyle industry.
Intern Payment and Working Hours:
• This is an unpaid internship.
• Experience will be provided to meet criteria for academic credit.
• Interns must be able to work in the office a minimum of 15 hours per week.
