Shmeel is a luxury fashion brand founded in NYC in 2019. It initially focused on effortlessly sexy activewear. The brand is relaunching under a new name and concept in 2025, aiming to provide innovative and stylish designs to the fashion industry.
Job Description:
This is a hybrid internship role for a Luxury Fashion Design Intern at Shmeel located in New York, NY. The intern will participate in daily activities related to:
• Fashion Design: Assisting in the design and development of new collections.
• Graphic Design: Creating visuals and graphics for design concepts and marketing materials.
• Fashion Styling: Supporting styling for photoshoots and other visual presentations.
• Textiles: Researching and sourcing fabrics and materials.
• Sewing: Assisting with pattern making, sample construction, and garment alterations.
This is an UNPAID internship. College credit may be available. There is potential for this to become a longer-term paid role.
