Job Description:

Audit Winter 2026 Internship – Woodland Hills, CA

CohnReznick is seeking Audit Winter Interns for their Woodland Hills, CA office from January to April 2026. This is a hybrid position, with team members encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

Team Structure:

Engagement Team: Interns will work closely with other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
Industries: The firm serves a variety of clients across industries, including Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (varies by office).
Office: The CohnReznick office offers amenities and collaborative spaces.
Performance Coach: Will provide guidance and feedback on career development.
CR Friend: Will serve as a familiar face and point of contact within the firm.

Your Role:

As an Audit Winter Intern, you will become familiar with accounting and auditing procedures and performing procedures in accordance with firm standards in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Work all aspects of an audit engagement including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs and preparing audit work papers.
• Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
• Take part in resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients while assisting the team with daily client workflow.

Your Experience:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• Plan to complete 150 credit hours between May 2026 – September 2027 in order to be CPA licensed
• Minimum 3.0 GPA in both major and overall
• Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the start of internship
• Leadership positions in student organizations, extracurricular activities, or team projects
• Prior work or internship experience (a plus)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Salary: In California, the salary for an audit intern is $34 per hour.
