Job Title: Audit Summer 2026 Internship – San Francisco, CA

Internship Dates: June to August 2026

Location: San Francisco, CA

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (expected to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week, cadence determined at team level).

Team Structure:

Engagement Team: Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
Industries: Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (varies by office).
Performance Coach: Provides feedback, sets goals, and guides career path.
CR Friend: A familiar face for support and questions.

Your Role:

As an Audit Summer Intern, you’ll familiarize yourself with accounting and auditing procedures and perform them accurately and timely, following firm standards.

Responsibilities:

• Work on all aspects of an audit engagement, including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
• Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
• Participate in resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients.
• Assist the team with daily client workflow.

Your Experience:

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Plan to complete 150 credit hours between May 2026 – September 2027 to be CPA licensed.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA in both major and overall.
• Successful completion of two accounting courses before the internship.
• Leadership positions in student organizations, extracurricular activities, or team projects.
• Prior work or internship experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Must have U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status (CohnReznick does not offer sponsorship to foreign nationals for Entry Level Roles).
