Job Description: Sales Operations Intern

Summit is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sales Operations Intern to support their sales and partner organizations as they execute go-to-market strategies for their technology managed services. This role offers hands-on experience in CRM management, sales enablement, order tracking, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update customer, opportunity, and partner data in CRM or PRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Assist the sales team in preparing and submitting proposals, RFP responses, and supporting documentation.
• Support partner and revenue operations through order tracking, reporting, and data management.
• Help streamline backend processes that support sales, marketing, and partner success.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative tasks across departments including sales, finance, and marketing.
• Follow up on low-value client inquiries and ensure accurate documentation across systems.
• Contribute to data cleanup efforts, report generation, and process improvements.
• Gain exposure to sales tools, partner ecosystems, and revenue operations best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Business, Marketing, Administration, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in sales operations, order management, or administrative support (preferred but not required for interns).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Basic understanding of technology services or B2B environments.

Internship Details:

• Commitment: 15-20 hours per week during the academic year, with the option to increase to full-time during summer.
• Duration: 6-9 months, flexible based on availability.
• Compensation: $19 – $24 per hour.
