About the Youth Ministry Admin Intern Role:
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the Youth Ministry at Calvary Chapel. The intern will provide crucial administrative support, create engaging content for students and parents, and assist with the planning and execution of youth events and services. This role is designed to foster the intern’s skills in communication, organization, and teamwork within a vibrant ministry environment.
Detailed Job Description:
• Intern Title: Youth Ministry Admin Intern
• Department: Youth Ministry
• Reports To: Youth Groups Coordinator
• Location: Fort Lauderdale Campus
• Days/Hours: Thursday – Sunday (20-25 hours)
Responsibilities:
• Content Creation and Communication:
• Create and distribute weekly communications to students and parents using Ministry Platform and external email tools such as MailChimp, Blackpulp, and Parent Handout.
• Database Management:
• Update new student/family database records.
• Link families together within the database.
• Add parent records to Mailchimp.
• Ministry Support:
• Keep track of ministry supplies.
• Assist the youth ministry team with all administrative needs.
• Reporting and Tracking:
• Facilitate tracking, measuring, and reporting for youth ministry reports.
• Social Media:
• Help manage and create content for social media accounts.
• Event and Service Assistance:
• Assist with Youth Events administration needs.
• Assist with weekend services.
• Assist with Youth Events as needed.

Work Schedule:
• Thursday: 9 AM – 5 PM
• Friday: 9 AM – 2 PM (Intern Cohort)
• Saturday: 2:30 PM – 8:30 PM
• Sunday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Note: Hours and days may vary depending on campus events. The role may require bending, sitting, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 35 lbs.
