About The HJGT
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT), founded in 2007, aims to provide junior golfers (ages 8-18) the chance to play competitive golf on exceptional courses. The tour focuses on providing superb hospitality and making each event memorable. It’s open to both male and female golfers. The HJGT is currently the largest junior golf tour globally, hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. In 2017, the HJGT partnered with Nexus, backed by Joe Lewis, Tavistock Group, Tiger Woods, and Justin Timberlake.
Position: Golf Operations Associate

Internship Dates: August-December 2025
Reports to: Director, Recruitment
Position Summary:
As a Golf Operations Associate Intern, you will be under the direct supervision and mentorship of HJGT Tournament Directors and Staff Members. You will learn how to operate golf tournaments through active involvement in all aspects of tournament operations, from course setup to course breakdown. This hands-on internship involves extensive travel every weekend across the country. When not traveling, you will receive Business Operations training through hands-on learning and development provided by the Senior Leadership team. There are five operations teams across of the country. Two of them live in full time housing which is in GA while the other three teams are travel teams and they live in hotels during the duration of their program. Travel teams spend one full week in each city they visit.
Responsibilities:
• Provide extensive customer service to all players and families.
• Tournament set-up and preparation includes, but is not limited to: marking golf courses, tee and hole locations, scoreboard set-up, utility set-up.
• Starting and scoring of players, on-course rules officiating, and pace of play management.
• Other duties assigned by management.
