Job Description: San Antonio Marketing Intern

This internship is with Telemundo San Antonio. The Marketing Specialist Intern will assist in external marketing efforts, under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and develop strong organic growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in marketing and advertising promotional activities (On Air).
• Identifying new marketing opportunities for the station.
• Communicating, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns for program launches.
• Overseeing local, non-traditional/OOH marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Communicating opportunities to improve coverage on media trade publications (Sweeps, Station Events, Station Initiatives, Festivals, and press releases).
• Acting as a community affairs liaison.
• Participating in creative brainstorming sessions to develop marketing campaigns, concepts, and materials (brochures, flyers, premiums, etc.).
• Developing concepts, design, and copy for press releases, presentations, Outdoor Billboards, and e-marketing materials.
• Assisting with brainstorming, planning, and execution with special Network initiatives.
• Developing evaluation post-reports for social media, marketing, talent & press initiatives.
• Monitoring launches & performance of local and national titles.
• Developing competitive reports after every festival.
• Creating and updating an ROI matrix and helping maintain quarterly promotional inventory and budget.
• Managing, communicating, facilitating, and organizing details for special marketing and station events.
• Overseeing the orders and delivery of materials for marketing/branding campaigns and sales materials.
• Organizing weekly meetings to discuss upcoming activations/promotions/events.
• Supervising and training the Telemundo 60 San Antonio Brand Ambassador Team.
• Assisting with the daily input of promotional media traffic on Wide Orbit.
