Job Description:

This posting is for the Community College Internship (CCI) program at PNNL. The CCI program is designed to encourage undergraduate students and recent graduates to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Interns work under the guidance of laboratory staff scientists or engineers on projects supporting the Department of Energy (DOE) mission. Selected students will participate as interns appointed at PNNL.

Key responsibilities/aspects of the internship:

• Performing research under the guidance of laboratory staff.
• Contributing to projects supporting the DOE mission.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements established and verified by DOE-WDTS.
• A current application in the Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientist (WDTS) system is required.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident at the time of application
