Job Description:
This is a DSF Summer Intern position at CBRE, a global commercial real estate services firm, located in Irvine, California. The internship is designed for current college students (junior, senior, or graduate level) seeking a career in commercial real estate. The program aims to provide a well-rounded knowledge of the commercial real estate business and valuable skills through hands-on experience working alongside professionals.
Key aspects of the internship:
• Learning and Development: The internship accelerates learning and development by providing a strong foundation upon which to build a commercial real estate sales career and outstanding perspective on our coordinated service lines.
• Responsibilities:
• Conducting company, property, and industry-specific research.
• Updating prospect information in an internal tracking database.
• Assisting in the development of marketing and presentation materials.
• Tracking local and regional economic activity, employment statistics, company activity, industry trends, and demographics affecting the local real estate market.
• Contributing to business development projects.
• Providing support with current deals, including market surveys, proposal reviews and summaries, lease reviews, and financial analysis.
• Requirements:
• Must be a current college junior, senior, or graduate level student, graduating in 2026.
• Desire to work in the commercial real estate industry.
• Experience with MS Office (intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel).
• Strong presentation, analytical, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to network and interact professionally.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with Argus, Salesforce and Tableau is a plus.
• Compensation: The minimum salary for the Intern position is $17.50 per hour and the maximum salary for the Intern position is $17.81 per hour.
