Job Description:
Position: Intern: Human Resources (Fall 2025)
Location: Dublin, VA
Type: Student
This intern role provides students with the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in a professional environment and to support/promote the graduate’s career goals through contact with professionals in their field of study.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with onboarding and orientation of new hires
• Support recruiting efforts by screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and attending job fairs
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (digital and paper-based)
• Help update HR policies, procedures, and training documents
• Participate in employee engagement initiatives and events
• Support time and attendance audits and reporting
• Assist with internal communications related to HR updates or events
• Help facilitate compliance training (safety, anti-harassment, etc.)
• Provide general administrative support to HR team (filing, data entry, preparing reports)
• Observe and support investigations, corrective actions, and other employee relations activities (as appropriate)
• Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement efforts
Skills:
• Excellent communication skills (writing, proofreading, speaking)
• Ability to tailor communication style based on the platform and audience
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
• Excellent interpersonal skills with high professionalism
• Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
• Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop and/or Canva preferred
Minimum Education Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a business, marketing, or communication degree at an accredited school
• Completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the intern program
• Minimum GPA of 2.75
• Must upload an unofficial transcript when submitting an application.

Work Environment:

• May require wearing PPE while on the plant floor

Compensation and Benefits:
• Hourly range: $16.00 – $46.00 (determined by geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study)
