Job Description:
This job is an entry-level position offering hands-on experience in the automotive industry, working alongside an experienced technician. It’s a 30-day trial period to qualify for the 18-month Technician Development Program (TDP).
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in performing basic auto body repairs (dent removal, sanding, painting) under supervision.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and develop repair plans.
• Collaborate with team members to complete repair projects within timelines and quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Education and/or Experience:
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Trade/Vocational school graduates preferred.
• Some on-the-job experience is preferred.
• I-CAR Gold Class preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions.
• Must be able to use hands efficiently in handling vehicle parts.
• Strong interest in the automotive industry.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Basic knowledge of auto body repair techniques and tools is preferred but not required.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation to commute to the workplace.

Requirements To Qualify For Entry Into TDP:
• Mentor agrees to accept trainee
• Zero unplanned absences
• Zero Tardiness violations
• Has worked with selected mentor for 90% or more of the 30-day time frame
• Trainee passes final Pre-TDP assessment
• Mentor signs training agreement
