About Washington Regional Urgent Care:

Washington Regional Urgent Care is an affiliate of Urgent Team, a large independent operator of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. With six locations in Northwest Arkansas, they provide quality, affordable family healthcare. Their centers offer a range of services, including treatment for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. They are open seven days a week with extended hours. All Washington Regional Urgent Care centers are Accredited Care Centers.

Job Description:

Washington Regional Urgent Care in Harrison, AR, is seeking Medical Receptionists to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and visitors, answering inquiries and guiding them through the registration process.
• Answer multi-line phones, file, fax, scan documentation, and complete daily patient callbacks.
• Check in and discharge patients, assist clinical staff, and close the office at the end of each shift.
• Collect insurance information, verify patient demographics, process payments, post patient balances, and complete phone sheets.
• Maintain a clean work environment and professional appearance.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety procedures.

What’s Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic computer software and the ability to learn electronic medical records.
• Prior experience in a medical office setting (minimum one year performing front desk tasks such as patient check-in and insurance verification).

Schedule:

Full-time: Rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend.
PRN (per diem): Scheduled on an as-needed basis.
