Job Description:
This is a full-time summer internship at Generac Power Systems in Waukesha, WI, with a potential extension to part-time status during the school year. The internship is designed to give students a chance to develop their business and technical skills by assisting with ongoing and project-related activities within the accounting department. The intern will be introduced to Shared Services accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Cash Application, and Credit Memos. The candidate will also support various “continuous improvement” projects.
Major Responsibilities:
• Assist the Shared Services team:
• Brainware processing – AP automation software failures & manually resolving
• AR Cash application/posting offsets to customer accounts
• Credit memo processing in SAP
• Past due invoice resolution
• Excel reporting as needed
• Mail distribution
• Complete other projects as assigned
