Job Description:

This posting is for a Campus Intern position at CDW. This role is a dynamic experience that allows students to experience CDW’s culture by working with an experienced team of problem solvers that win together. The internship is designed to offer flexibility and balance with academic workloads, allowing interns to create their own schedules without a commute.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaison: Serve as a key connection point between the CDW Sales team, the intern’s University, and Fortune 500 technology partners.
Networking & Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with existing customers across various departments within the university.
Research & Opportunity Identification: Research technology trends and identify opportunities for CDW to be more strategic on campus.
Education: Educate existing customers about the CDW partnership, highlighting the value and expertise offered to the University.

Growth and Training:

• The internship focuses on sharpening communication skills and gaining hands-on exposure to the technology industry.
• Interns receive 4-weeks paid training and ongoing mentorship from a dedicated Intern Program Manager and Sales team.
• Training opportunities include job shadowing, live meetings, webinars, online training modules, vendor-sponsored events, and regular conference calls.

Compensation and Work Environment:

• Hourly compensation: $15.85
• Interns are expected to work 15-25 hours per week during standard business hours, year-round. This expectation is currently decreased, with fewer hours and 100% virtual work due to COVID-19.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Sophomore or Junior enrolled in an undergraduate program at the University indicated in job title.
• Must be authorized to work for CDW in the United States, immigration sponsorship (H1-B, TN, etc.) is not currently available for this position.
• Effective problem-solving skills, analytical aptitude, and the ability to learn quickly.
• Strong organization and time management skills to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of an organization.
