Job Description:
This is a summer internship providing administrative support to all levels of management within MasTec Renewables. The role requires a high level of trust, self-discipline, and confidential discretion. The intern will be based in the Fargo, ND office.
Responsibilities Include:
• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
• Communicating messages promptly to the appropriate parties.
• Managing SharePoint and Outlook calendars for designated leaders.
• Supporting data entry and verification in various systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Completing monthly expense reports for designated leaders.
• Knowing how to locate personnel in the office, shop, or field.
• Addressing and shipping project plans and documents.
• Ordering, copying, and returning plans.
• Using UPS Online Worldship, Fed Ex, and other carriers to send out packages.
• Assisting with special projects as needed by HR, AP, PM’s, etc.
• Maintaining inventory and ordering office supplies, equipment, and company forms.
• Typing memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
• Assisting in sending out holiday gift cards and gifts.
• Coordinating offsite meetings.
• Assisting in site signage coordination.
• Assisting in assessment and maintenance of memberships and associations.
• May assist with various committees (Belief Builders, United Way, etc.)
• Back-up in assisting Executive team as needed.
• Creating and maintaining distribution lists.
• Assisting in travel arrangements for employees.
• Assisting in creation and management of organizational charts.
• May assist in coverage for Office Coordinator as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program.
• Minimum GPA of 2.9 in relevant coursework.
Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Team Player.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
• Ability to interact with clients, managers and employees with a high level of professionalism.
