Job Description:
The TikTok Search team’s goal is to offer the best user experience and increase user awareness of TikTok search. The Strategic Operations Intern will focus on global markets, working with functional teams to explore and expand the boundaries of TikTok search.
Responsibilities:
• Own the end-to-end content quality and user experience across search and recommendation features, including all search user acquisition channels on TikTok.
• Deeply understand user intent across various search scenarios.
• Define high-quality experiences through data analysis, user insights, and continuous optimization using LLMs and content understanding strategies.
• Partner closely with algorithm engineers, product managers, and analytics teams to ensure healthy traffic growth and create standout user scenarios with strong brand perception.
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong intuition for user needs and content quality, with the ability to abstract requirements and independently drive strategic planning.
• Background in content strategy, search/recommendation systems, visual search, or AI products is a strong plus.
• Sharp logical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above (computer science, information technology, data science, and other related majors are preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Possess a strong sense of logic and creativity, excellent communication abilities, and a desire to improve
• Possess strong problem-solving and data-analysis abilities, as well as the ability to encourage product development based on data analysis
This is a 12-week internship program in Summer 2025.
