Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program
This is an internship opportunity with Universal Destinations & Experiences for the Spring 2026 program, running approximately from January 2026 – April 2026. The application deadline is June 20th, 2025, at 11:55 PM ET.
Job Summary:
The Marketing Data Science intern will collaborate with data scientists in developing and improving statistical models to guide media investment strategies and data-driven decision making. Responsibilities also include enhancing data ingestion pipelines, learning data preparation methods for model ingestion, and gaining experience with data visualization software (Power BI / Tableau) to present data to stakeholders.
Major Responsibilities:
• Leverages machine learning and predictive modeling techniques to assist data scientists in enhancing and developing statistical models that guide media investment strategies.
• Uses programming languages to enhance data ingestion pipelines.
• Utilizes data visualization software to create dashboards that help facilitate data-driven decision making.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
• A transcript is required upon application.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
• Preferred majors include: Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or similar.
• Preferred coursework completed: Machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive modeling techniques, or similar.
• Experience in data analysis, statistics, and data visualization.
• Preferred experience with SQL and ability to write SQL queries.
• Preferred experience with data visualization software/platforms (Power BI or Tableau preferred).
• Previous knowledge of a programming language such as Python or R.
Important Notes:
• This is an in-person internship located in Orlando.
• Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university with a graduation date later than April 2026.
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing; interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
• The internship is paid, and housing financial assistance may be available (details provided by the Recruiter).
