Job Description:
Vituity is seeking advanced providers for an Emergency Medicine Internship in Sun City West, AZ, at Banner Boswell Medical Center. This is a 4-month program specifically designed for Physician Assistants (PAs) who are new to Emergency Medicine (including new graduates) and want to gain hands-on experience.
• Internship Program Details:
• The PAEM Internship started in 2007 and is a proven method for PAs to gain Emergency Department clinical experience.
• Training begins in November/December and lasts for 4 months.
• Interns are expected to commit 40 hours/week throughout the program.
• All efforts are made to help successful Interns secure regular employment with Vituity upon completion of the program.

• Arizona license is required.
• No prior experience is necessary; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Level IV Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Certified Primary Stroke Center.
• 62-bed ED with an annual volume of 51,000 patients.

• Telemedicine capability in all rooms, 17 negative pressure rooms, dedicated fast track, standing orders area.
