Job Description:
This is a full-time position for a Clinical Tech Intern on the Night Shift. The Clinical Tech Intern assists nurses by performing routine patient activities and delegated patient care procedures. This role is designed for individuals with entry-level clinical skills who are working towards becoming Patient Care Technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Works under the supervision of a nurse.
• Performs routine patient activities.
• Performs delegated patient care procedures of a specialized and technical nature.
• Considers the developmental needs of the patient when providing care.
• Follows competency documentation guidelines.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
• Entry-level knowledge of basic clinical skills.
• BLS CPR certification required (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted).
• The PCT Intern will remain in an intern role for no longer than 1 year and will advance to the PCT I upon meeting training requirements.
