About the Company
The North Star Chorus is the central performing unit of the Greater St. Paul Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, a nonprofit organization established in 1957. The chorus is dedicated to promoting and preserving the art of barbershop singing through performances and community outreach.
Job Description
This is a part-time remote volunteer role at North Star Chorus. Volunteers will assist in various tasks such as:
• Event Planning: Assisting in the planning and coordination of chorus performances, workshops, and other events.
• Social Media Management: Creating and scheduling engaging content for the chorus’s social media platforms to increase visibility and audience engagement.
• Fundraising: Supporting fundraising efforts to ensure the financial stability of the chorus, potentially including grant writing, donation campaigns, and event sponsorships.
• Member Engagement: Contributing to initiatives that enhance member satisfaction and retention within the chorus.
