Job Description

ABOUT THIS NAKED MIND:

At This Naked Mind, their mission is to create a brand-new way to look at the role of alcohol in our lives, establishing a safe space for those who question their drinking. They offer a proven alternative to the largely ineffective recipe for so-called “success”—the one that says anything less than 100% abstinence is failure. They help people quash their desire to drink in the first place.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

They are hiring a paid Social Media Intern to support their marketing team at This Naked Mind. You’ll work across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook (including groups and pages) to create, repurpose, and post content that drives engagement and builds community — all while helping people rethink their relationship with alcohol. This is a remote position working directly with their Marketing Campaign Manager.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Create and repurpose short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories)
• Write captions and hook copy that aligns with their brand tone and speaks to their audience
• Edit content using tools like CapCut or Canva
• Pull content from their library of assets (podcast clips, coaching calls, testimonials) to build original short-form posts
• Participate in content brainstorms and campaign planning with the marketing team
• Post and engage on their Facebook page and in their community groups
• Use scheduling tools (especially Agorapulse) to organize and publish content
• Track and report basic engagement metrics — what’s working and what’s not

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU….

• Are comfortable showing up on camera occasionally (voiceovers, light front-facing content — but not required to be the face of the brand)
• Respect or align with the alcohol-free/sober-curious lifestyle
• Are familiar with social media trends and how to use them to support deeper messaging
• Enjoy storytelling and understand how content builds trust and connection
• Are organized, independent, and proactive — but also collaborative and feedback-friendly
• Have a natural curiosity and desire to learn how social media fits into full marketing campaigns
• Are a student pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, psychology, public health, or just have killer instincts and creativity

INTERNSHIP DETAILS:

Paid internship: $15/hour (independent contractor role)
• 15–20 hours/week, fully remote with flexible scheduling
• Internship runs for 3–5 months (June–October), with potential to extend
• Academic credit may be available — student is responsible for coordination with their university or career center; they’ll provide documentation or evaluations as needed

BONUS IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience managing or growing a TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook presence
• Knowledge of Agorapulse or similar scheduling/engagement tools
• Familiarity with the alcohol-free or wellness space (not required, but helpful)
• Prior marketing internships or relevant course projects
