Job Description: Digital Asset Management Intern
Carrum is seeking a Digital Asset Management Intern for a remote internship program running from July to August 18, 2025. The internship is open to post-graduate students or those enrolled in certificate programs and offers a stipend of $6,000.
The intern will report to the Director of Content Strategy and Operations and play a key role in organizing and managing the company’s growing library of creative and educational assets. This involves:
• Organizing the digital asset library for real-world use.
• Designing systems for folder structures and metadata tagging to improve content discoverability.
• Building foundational experience in digital asset management, taxonomy, and workflow optimization.
• Developing strategic project assignments that support the company’s key objectives and priorities.
• Presenting findings and recommendations to leaders and teams across the organization.
• Gaining exposure to managers and leaders with excellence in business acumen.
• Working with dedicated managers and knowledgeable peer mentors.
• Networking and building relationships within the organization.
• Participating in all events available to our employees.
Key Responsibilities and Desired Skills:
The ideal candidate should have:
• Familiarity with Digital Asset Management systems.
• Knowledge of metadata standards and experience creating or working with metadata schemas and tagging systems
• Basic understanding of controlled vocabularies and taxonomy building.
• Strong file organization skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to assess, clean up, and re-catalog large volumes of digital content.
• Basic skills in Excel, Google Sheets, or analytics tools for summarizing data.
• Clear writing and documentation skills (to create training materials, guides, and protocols).
• Basic UX/UI or human-centered design knowledge (to enhance system usability).
• Availability from July to August 18, 2025.
• Their own laptop or computer and a stable internet connection in order to work remotely
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial and resourceful spirit.
• Experience handling deadlines, prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for cross-functional collaboration.
