Job Description:

Stuebner Airline Veterinary Hospital is offering a Veterinary Student Externship designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in a collaborative and supportive environment. The externship is designed to prepare veterinary students for real-world practice.

Key aspects of the externship:

• Practical Experience: Externs will gain hands-on experience with physical exams, diagnostics, treatment plans, dentistry, and surgery.
• Mentorship: Receive mentorship in case management, client communication, and medical decision-making from experienced DVMs.
• Collaboration: Work daily with skilled veterinarians and support staff in a fast-paced setting.
• Skill Development: Build confidence in both clinical skills and team communication.

Program Details:

• Flexible Scheduling: Minimum 2 weeks, up to 4 weeks.
• Eligibility: Open to veterinary students.
• Travel/Living Stipend: $2,000 for students in their clinical year.
