Job Description:
U.S. Xpress has multiple SkillBridge internship and pre-apprenticeship opportunities available across various locations. These opportunities are tailored for transitioning service members and aim to provide hands-on experience and training within the dynamic transportation industry. The available roles span both maintenance shop positions and corporate office roles:
Maintenance Shop Roles:
• Diesel and Trailer Technicians: Perform maintenance and repair work on diesel engines and trailers.
• Service and Parts Coordinators: Manage service requests and coordinate the procurement and distribution of parts.
• Roadside Assistance: Provide support and assistance to drivers experiencing issues on the road.
• Warranty Coordinators: Process warranty claims and manage warranty-related paperwork.
Corporate Office Roles:
• Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Operations: Support and improve the company’s daily operational activities.
• Human Resources: Manage employee relations, recruitment, benefits, and other HR functions.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.
