Job Description: Account Services Intern (Summer 2025) – Lakeland, FL
IGT Lakeland is offering a paid internship in their Account Services department for Summer 2025. This internship is aimed at students in Business, Analytics, or Operations programs. The intern will work up to 28 hours per week.
Internship Project(s) & Function(s):
• Support the Account Services department in process improvements, special projects, and SOP documentation.
• Apply IGT documentation and data for conducting root cause analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain and update the Account Services Post-Executed Changes (PEC) database (Microsoft Access).
Goals/End Results:
The main goal is to drive process improvement within the Account Services department, resulting in reduced error rates and improved operational efficiency.
• Gain insights into the instant ticket game development process.
• Review data for PECs caused by errors or omissions.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead a project aimed at mitigating future errors.
• Keep our PEC Database in Microsoft Access up to date for better performance.
Expected Business Value:
• Improve customer experience by minimizing PECs (Post-Executed Changes), ensuring seamless service delivery.
• Better-functioning PEC database for the Account Services team.
• Comprehensive reports for strategic decision-making by the management team.
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business, Analytics, Operations, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
• Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Access databases.
• Experience or familiarity with data analysis techniques.
