Job Description: Operations & HR Intern
This internship offers hands-on experience in both human resources and office operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, wearing “many hats.” Responsibilities include:
• HR Support: Assisting with quarterly performance reviews, tracking weekly timesheets, contributing to recruiting efforts (posting jobs, scheduling interviews).
• Office Operations: Maintaining office organization and supplies, managing the company intranet and electronic file systems, overseeing digital employee record management, tracking and managing company equipment, running errands as needed.
• Employee Engagement: Planning and executing monthly employee engagement/appreciation initiatives, coordinating service awards and birthday celebrations.
• Day-to-Day Operations: Assisting the finance department with bank and credit card reconciliations and client billing tasks, updating and verifying project data against contracts to ensure accuracy.
• Administrative Support: Providing administrative assistance to the executive leadership team and assisting with various projects as needed.
The position requires approximately 24 hours per week (3 days), with a mandatory in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Exact hours are flexible depending on workload. Prior experience is not a primary requirement; enthusiasm, talent, and the qualities listed below are highly valued.
