Job Description: Entertainment/Culture Intern
Her Campus is seeking a highly motivated and creative Entertainment/Culture Intern for a summer internship. The ideal candidate possesses a strong passion for entertainment and culture, staying abreast of current trends in TV, movies, digital news, and celebrity news. This is a detail-oriented role requiring strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities: The intern will assist the editorial team with various tasks, including:
• Writing and editing entertainment and news articles.
• Contributing to larger editorial projects and packages.
• Interviewing talent and expert sources.
• Creating and optimizing SEO and e-commerce content.
• Completing timely writing assignments for the News, Entertainment, and Digital sections.
• Meeting tight deadlines.
• Working on high-level tasks with significant responsibility.
Qualifications:
• Current college undergraduate status.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace tools.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, efficiency, and creativity.
• Passion for the Her Campus mission and Gen Z culture.
• In-depth knowledge of pop culture and social commentary.
• Interest in writing, editing, research, college trends, and project management.
• Enthusiasm for creating content related to pop culture, news, TikTok, celebrities, and entertainment.
