Job Description: AI Data Cloud Internship (Fall 2025)
Snowflake is offering paid, full-time internships for dedicated students passionate about groundbreaking technology. What Snowflake Expects:
• Active enrollment in an accredited college/university program during the internship.
• Ideally a 3rd/4th-year undergraduate, Masters, or PhD student.
• Desired majors: Computer Science, Physics, Math, or a related field.
• Required coursework: Algorithms, Data Structures, Operating Systems.
• Recommended coursework: Database Systems, Distributed Systems.
• Excellent programming skills in Python or Java.
• Experience with DevOps (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform) and Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.

What Interns Will Learn:
• Building enterprise-grade, reliable, and trustworthy software/services.
• SQL and/or other database technologies.
• Database internals, large-scale data processing, and data warehouse design.
• Delivering quality software in a large distributed system with an emphasis on functional and performance automation, workloads, and testing.
• Building automation frameworks and infrastructure to improve development workflow efficiency.
• Working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform).

Internship Details:
• When: Fall 2025
• Start Dates: August 15, September 12
• End Dates: November 7, December 19
• Duration: Minimum 12 weeks, 16 weeks recommended (maximum 12 months)
Compensation (US-based roles): The estimated pay range is $42.00 – $60.00 per hour. The actual starting hourly rate will depend on skills, experience, and location. A competitive benefits package is also included.
