Job Description: Summer Marketing & Business Development Intern
Al Warren Oil Company seeks a full-time, paid Summer Marketing & Business Development Intern for a 40-hour/week schedule running from May 19th to August (with a flexible end date based on the intern’s school return). A part-time remote work opportunity may be available after August, contingent on performance and company needs.
This internship offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
• Marketing & Business Development: Researching and identifying potential new customers, markets, and industry trends. Analyzing lead and customer data using Microsoft Excel. Creating engaging social media content and posts to boost traffic.
• Event Planning & Management: Assisting in planning and executing customer appreciation events (sporting events, dinners, golf outings). Serving as the Event Manager for a major golf event in September, overseeing vendors, logistics, and post-event follow-ups. Attending and working booths at industry expos and events to promote the Al Warren Oil brand.
• Customer Relations: Communicating with customers to confirm event participation and maintain positive relationships. Updating internal communication boards and sending employee newsletters.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Sales, Finance, or Business.
• Junior or senior status in Fall 2025.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Organized, creative, and confident in writing and public speaking.
• Ability to thrive in both collaborative and independent work environments.
• Reliable transportation to attend local events and meetings.
