Job Description: SEO and Content Intern
NoGood is seeking a hands-on SEO and Content Intern to contribute to their organic traffic growth initiatives. This role is a blend of content creation and SEO implementation. The internship can be remote, but is based out of their NYC headquarters.
Responsibilities include:
• Supporting NoGood’s content strategy by writing thought leadership pieces and blog posts to drive traffic.
• Creating various content formats including blog posts, emails, and landing page copy.
• Optimizing existing marketing assets to improve the customer journey within marketing funnels.
• Collaborating with the marketing team on new growth initiatives.
• Conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform organic marketing strategies.
• Implementing technical SEO improvements to enhance organic visibility. Developing expertise in SEO best practices and tactics.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Strong interest in marketing, content, marketing analytics, and SEO.
• Proficiency in SEO tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics (a plus).
• Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• A proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Exceptional writing skills for both long-form (thought leadership) and short-form (persuasive) content.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Mandatory: Working knowledge of WordPress, including article creation and SEO implementation within the CMS.
• Experience with marketing automation software like HubSpot (a plus).
• Current enrollment in a 4-year or graduate program at an accredited institution.
