Human Resources Intern Position Description:

This internship is a training experience designed to provide learning opportunities within both the Workforce Development and Inclusion and Belonging teams at Children’s Wisconsin. The intern will support various aspects of the HR function, including:

Training Programs: Assisting in the development and execution of training initiatives.
Recruitment: Supporting the recruitment process, potentially including tasks related to candidate sourcing or screening.
Community Events: Participating in and contributing to community outreach events.
Ongoing Projects: Supporting various ongoing HR projects as needed.

Work Schedule and Location:

The internship will run from Summer 2025 through the Spring 2026 semester. The schedule is flexible, offering up to 20-25 hours per week during the academic year, with the possibility of additional hours during the summer. Hours are generally daytime, with occasional evening or weekend event attendance. The position is hybrid, involving a mix of in-person work at the Children’s Corporate Center (999 N 92nd St, Wauwatosa, WI 53226) and remote work.

Requirements:

• Current enrollment as a junior or senior in a bachelor’s degree program. Suitable majors include business administration, human resources, psychology, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• Ability to work approximately 20-25 hours per week while attending college.
