Job Description: Analyst or Senior Analyst
ECG is seeking full-time Analysts and Senior Analysts to join their consulting team. These roles involve working alongside top professionals to develop solutions impacting the healthcare industry. New hires will become general members of the healthcare consulting pool, gaining diverse experience across ECG’s four divisions:
• Health System Performance
• Medical Group Optimization
• Payer Strategy & Contracting
• Strategy & Enterprise Growth
This structure allows for continuous learning and development of healthcare consulting expertise.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading independent work streams to solve client challenges and achieve successful project outcomes.
• Analyzing data, formulating hypotheses, and developing actionable recommendations to address complex healthcare problems.
• Creating high-quality client deliverables, including presentations, Excel models, financial analyses, and written reports, under tight deadlines.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
• Developing and managing project plans with clear goals, deliverables, and timelines.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related analytical field.
• 0-4 years of professional experience; internship or experience in consulting, analytics, or healthcare is preferred.
• Proven experience in data-driven decision-making, demonstrating expertise in data analysis, trend identification, and insight development.
• General knowledge and interest in the healthcare industry, understanding key stakeholders, trends, and challenges.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including quantitative analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other analytical tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to manage project timelines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
ECG offers a competitive compensation package including an estimated base salary range of $70,000 – $97,000 annually (varying based on experience and skills), participation in an annual incentive compensation program, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k) matching, unlimited PTO, and wellness programs. A hybrid work schedule is expected, with a minimum of two days in the office per week when not traveling for client engagements.
