Job Description: FP&A Summer Intern
DrFirst is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated FP&A Summer Intern to join their Finance team for a 10-week full-time internship, starting June 2nd, 2024, and ending August 8th, 2024. This is a fully remote position.
The intern will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of financial planning and analysis, supporting the team in data-driven decision-making. Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
• Analyzing financial data and identifying performance trends.
• Supporting monthly reporting and variance analysis.
• Conducting ad-hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Excel is required; experience with financial modeling is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities are necessary.
• A willingness to learn and contribute effectively in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
