Job Description: Year-Round Finance Intern (Arlington, Texas)

This internship involves working closely with the Controller to support the financial health and operational efficiency of the Arlington plant. The intern will contribute to strategic planning, financial analysis, and reporting, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Guarantee the accuracy of accounting and financial information, complying with relevant accounting rules. Analyze variances between forecasted and actual results, and create reports using Excel and SAP. Participate in site forecasting.
Performance Improvement: Collaborate with the site team to develop action plans for improving financial and operational performance. Track and report on the status of these plans.
Cost Management: Maintain standard costs for existing and new products. Support inventory control and accountability for high-value components and fixed assets.
Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and maintain internal controls at the site.
Other Duties: Support the development and implementation of best practice strategies.

Qualifications:

Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting. MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
Skills: Strong Excel skills are essential; working knowledge of SAP is preferred. The candidate should demonstrate a desire to learn and grow professionally and possess a commitment to ethical standards. Ability to work effectively in a small team is crucial.
