Job Description: Finance Internship
Virginia Tile is offering a summer internship for a detail-oriented and highly motivated student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. This full-time (approximately 40 hours/week) position runs from June 9th through mid-August. The intern will work closely with the finance team, gaining practical experience in a corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Management: Assisting with the collection, entry, and organization of financial data.
• Reporting & Reconciliation: Supporting the creation of regular financial reports and reconciliations.
• Team Participation: Contributing to team meetings by offering insights and asking questions.
• Financial Analysis: Conducting research and analysis related to budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.
• Documentation & Project Support: Maintaining organized financial documentation and assisting with various finance projects as assigned.
Requirements:
• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in financial operations or corporate finance.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Full-time availability (approximately 40 hours/week) from June 9th through mid-August.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience working with datasets is preferred.
