LV Collective is an Austin, Texas-based real estate development company specializing in experience-driven, design-centric student housing and multifamily projects. They are seeking a video production intern to contribute to their in-house team.
Job Description:
This paid, part-time internship (May 2025 – August 2025, with potential extension) offers hands-on experience in video production within a corporate setting. The intern will work directly with the Director of Media Production, contributing to the creation of video strategies for various student housing and multifamily properties. The role requires a strong interest in online video production and post-production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Video Production & Post-Production: Shooting and editing original video content for various platforms; editing using Adobe Premiere and After Effects; creating graphics and animations; shooting 360 photos and creating 360 virtual tours.
• Video Strategy & Research: Researching social media video trends; researching video concepts and gathering assets; writing scripts and developing storyboards.
• Operations & Logistics: Assisting with day-to-day video operations (casting, scheduling, encoding, distributing); tracking video performance analytics to inform strategy; organizing projects and ensuring timely completion; researching and hiring production talent (in various markets).
• Marketing & Advertising: Understanding and applying marketing and advertising strategies. (Bonus points for photo editing skills)
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and familiarity with Photoshop, Lightroom, and After Effects.
• Strong understanding of photography and videography technical aspects (color, lighting).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivate.
• Understanding of marketing and advertising strategies.
Experience:
Junior or senior undergraduate (or graduate student) majoring in radio/television/film, advertising, digital media, journalism, broadcast journalism, or a related field. Relevant coursework is preferred.
