Job Description: Wet Weather Program Data Analyst
This role involves providing technical evaluation and support services to McKim & Creed’s Wet Weather Program. The primary responsibilities include:
• Data Management and Analysis: Reviewing, analyzing, processing, and reporting data from manual and automated observations on sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and potable water lines. This includes utilizing various software and processes to meet and exceed client expectations.
• Project Management: Planning and executing projects to meet client requirements, managing production control and quality assurance, and interfacing with vendors and subcontractors. Coordination with field crews and operations management is crucial for data collection and equipment maintenance. This also includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues and providing support. The role involves project startups and directing field deliverables to project specifications.
• Emergency Response and Client Relations: Participation in emergency response, including dispatching and interagency liaison, is required. Maintaining positive client relations through attendance at progress meetings and briefings is also essential.
• Fieldwork and Reporting: Overseeing the overall quality and timeliness of data collection, editing, and delivery. This includes technical report writing and conducting site visits to monitor fieldwork. Review of data collected from various sources like CCTV inspections, manhole inspections, smoke testing, flow monitoring, potable leak detection is a key component. Adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget in coordination with management is expected.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a similar technical field, OR three years of sanitary sewer evaluation surveys (SSES) and data management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Experience with GIS.
• Experience working with databases.
• Experience with data collection and reporting for SSES (Flow Monitoring, Smoke Testing, CCTV, Stormwater, I&I Studies, Hydraulic Modeling) or other Utilities (Sewer, Water, Gas distribution systems).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record. Must pass a drug test and criminal background check.
• Physical ability to perform fieldwork, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various terrains. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer are also expected.
