Job Description: Software Engineer
Lockheed Martin Space in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Software Engineer. This role involves working in a team environment using established software methodologies and processes. US Citizenship is required, and the position necessitates obtaining a government security clearance.
Responsibilities: This Software Engineer will be part of a team contributing to software development projects.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Experience in at least one of the following: C, C++, C#, Python, Java, XML, Windows, .NET, LINUX/UNIX, system software and scripting development, Java programming, web development, system analysis, system design, software design, software development and implementation, software testing.
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of basic software practices (coding standards, unit testing, configuration management).
• Database and system administration knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with the Agile Development Process.
Security Clearance: A government security clearance is required for this position. US Citizenship is mandatory for consideration. The clearance level is TS/SCI.
