Job Description:
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Software Engineer Associate in Manassas, VA. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring a government security clearance (US Citizenship is mandatory). The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience after college. The role involves significant work with CI/CD pipelines and related technologies.
Responsibilities:
• CI/CD Platform Development and Maintenance: Design, implement, and integrate new CI/CD platform capabilities. Administer and maintain existing platforms, including tool upgrades, security efforts, monitoring, and account management. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to service interruptions, build errors, access problems, etc.
• Collaboration and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with agile teams to ensure end-to-end quality. Provide training and mentorship to agile teams on CI/CD best practices.
• Documentation and Special Projects: Write and maintain documentation for CI/CD processes and tools. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Experience working with Linux-based operating systems and using the command line interface.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, bash, Java, C++, etc.).
• US Citizenship (required for security clearance).
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with continuous integration tools (preferably Jenkins or GitLab CI).
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Experience with source code analysis (SCA) tools (e.g., Coverity, SonarQube, Fortify).
• Ability to write and maintain complex scripts (Python, bash, etc.).
• Experience with Docker, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines for containerized deployments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies (e.g., Ansible, Docker Compose).
• Security+ certification or experience implementing security controls based on STIGs.
• Network architecture, protocol, and troubleshooting experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Work Schedule: 4×10-hour days, 3 days off per week.
