Business Management Associate Internship:
This internship offers hands-on experience within Cargill’s Animal Nutrition business. Interns will be exposed to diverse aspects of the business, including:
• Strategic Pricing: Developing and implementing pricing strategies.
• Supply Chain: Understanding and optimizing the flow of goods and materials.
• Commodity Merchandising: Trading and managing commodities.
• Feed Formulation: Creating and improving animal feed recipes.
• Sourcing: Identifying and securing raw materials.
• Data and Business Analytics: Analyzing data to improve business decisions.
• Business Financials: Understanding and managing the financial aspects of the business.
• Employee Engagement: Contributing to a positive work environment.
• Plant Operations: Gaining insight into production processes.
• Customers and Business Culture: Understanding customer needs and company culture.
A significant project will be assigned at the beginning of the internship, exposing interns to various work areas and cross-functional teams. Successful completion may lead to full-time positions within Cargill Animal Nutrition or other corporate opportunities, potentially involving relocation across the United States. The internship is designed to prepare interns for key individual contributor or supervisory roles.
Internship Details:
• Duration: 12 weeks (typically in the summer, May/June – August 2025).
• Compensation: hourly rate of $21.90-$25.30, dependent on graduation date and full-time employment eligibility.
• Location: Various U.S. locations, primarily Olathe/Kansas City, KS and Wayzata/Minneapolis, MN. A hybrid work arrangement will be possible.
• Responsibilities: Interns are responsible for their own transportation. Outstanding performance may lead to a return offer for a subsequent internship or a full-time position.
Internship Programming:
Cargill provides comprehensive learning resources, volunteer opportunities (with paid time off), and networking events for interns.
