Job Description: Project Management Intern

This internship at Richemont’s Grand Prairie, TX location offers practical, hands-on experience in project management within a logistics environment. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, contributing to real-world projects and developing skills in planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. The role provides exposure to various project methodologies and tools, offering a comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Support the logistics team throughout all project phases (planning, execution, monitoring, closure).
• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Collaborate with engineers on re-engineering and continuous improvement projects.
• Track project progress, identify potential risks, and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to technical problem-solving and decision-making.
• Prepare and present project updates and reports.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including external vendors, engineering, design, manufacturing, and procurement.
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
1+ years of work experience in a logistics or manufacturing operation.
GPA: 3.0 or higher.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to learning and innovation.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma concepts and applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the organization.
• Ability to thrive in a multi-functional and multi-cultural environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Team player with influencing abilities.
