FleetPulse is a company dedicated to enhancing the safety, efficiency, and security of freight transported in truck trailers across the US (with global expansion plans). They achieve this by combining IoT sensors and devices integrated into their trailer telematics hardware with a SaaS insights & analytics platform. Their current focus is on transforming the collected data into actionable business recommendations and insights, creating value and new opportunities for their users. While they have a growing user base, they are still in the early stages of development, targeting a significant 4 million trailer market opportunity in the US alone.
Job Description: UX/UI Designer
FleetPulse seeks its first-ever UX/UI designer to lead improvements across their entire platform. This role requires a highly collaborative individual who can manage projects from conception to completion, working closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about crafting intuitive, simple, engaging, and fun user interfaces, and understands how their work directly impacts the business and customers. They should be a strong advocate for user-centered design throughout the company.
Responsibilities:
• Lead UX/UI improvements across the entire FleetPulse platform.
• Manage projects end-to-end, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support.
• Create intuitive, simple, fun, and engaging interfaces.
• Champion a user-centered design approach company-wide.
• Advocate for user needs.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 3+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Portfolio showcasing end-to-end project leadership.
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, and design thinking.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping software (Figma, Adobe, etc.).
• Experience with storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities based on user feedback.
• Proven ability to gather customer feedback, iterate on designs, and anticipate user needs.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to determine when a design is “good enough” versus requiring further refinement.
• Collaborative team player.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary range: $85K-$125K annually
